Good for Sen. Franken. I wish more of those in power "on our side" would actually act on it.

Just playing devil's advocate a little here, if the study defined the nuclear family as "two married adults with more than one child who is either the biological or adopted child of both parents," I doubt many same sex married couples were profiled given how few same sex couples at this time are able to get married and adopt kids. This by no means changes the reality that the Focus on the Family statement reinterpreted the study's findings.

Nevertheless, Sen. Franken is just wonderful.
