So it goes to show that you really need to listen to whole thing instead of making judgements based on a one minute processed clip through computer speakers.
No, it doesn't. I heard one minute of the melody, the singing and the lyrics and could easily form an opinion about that one minute. I really don't count on critics to tell me how I personally feel about something when I hear it. I'm sure there were critics who really LOVED American Life, but that has nothing to do with my opinion at all.
