"And in the end/ The love you take/ is equal to the love...you make" just kills me every time I hear it. Gah, what an ending. Or almost-ending. Whatever. re: Any Beatles Fans??

Oh, please. The John glorifiers have no persepective- both Lennon and McCartney wrote ballads and rock numbers, and both were brilliant, though McCartney took some time to come into his own as a Beatle.

I was the perfect age - 14! - when the Beatles hit the US. I became a total Beatlemaniac, collecting every magazine I could find with their pictures in it (which was a MASSIVE number), making scrapbooks, buying the little collectible things. And not just the stuff published here. We all joined the official fan club and found newstands that carried the magazines from England and we bought all those too.

I had a bunch of friends who were equally crazy and we'd pile on buses and travel to Baltimore and New York just to see our idols. (I still can't believe my parents let me go to NY with my girlfriends just so I could see the Beatles! And it was just us - no adults.) Incredible.

There are two big cartons in the back closet that are filled with all that stuff. I haven't gone through it in years. I'm not sure I ever will. You can only be 14 once!

Favorite song? Impossible! The Beatles always came out with a new album at Christmas time and my best friend always bought it for me as a Christmas gift. Whatever the latest was was always my favorite. I do have a special attachment for a lot of the songs in Sgt. Pepper. "Fixing A Hole", "She's Leaving Home", and "A Day in the Life" particularly. The "Rubber Soul" and "Revolver" albums were also favorites.

I love the Beatles! My favorite is Eleanor Rigby, Fool on the Hill, and Hey Jude. But when Im stressed out and there's too much schoolwork to do, I walk around singing "Christ you know it ain't easy/you know how hard it can be/ the way things are going/they're gonna crucify me!" Yea thats when you know to stay away

"She Loves You" is literally the first song I remember hearing on the radio, when I was 4 years old. "Meet the Beatles" was the first record I owned, when I was 5. I bought every album after that, as soon as they came out.

spidey, are you seeeeeeriously asking if there are fans? gee! i thought my george lovin' was well documented! favourite album? white and sgt pepper. favourite song? she's leaving home, day in the life, glass onion, i don't want to spoil the party, do you want to know a secret, there's a place, it's only a northern song, hey bulldog, blue jay way. i also think the help and magical mystery tour films were fastly unrated. i went on this kick from about ages 8-12 where i read every beatle book in existance, lapped up all the videos, and memorized the albums (including solo work and wings material). i saw ringo in concert in 94 at the tender age of 9 and paul two years ago. john was my favourite as a kid (there was one particular poster i would kiss goodnight every night for many years, and now his poor lips look deformed), but as i've grown older i've realized he was kinda a jerk, and lean more towards george because of his spirituality and hindu beliefs. god bless them all!
