A buddy and I just found a Halloween party to attend (one with money for prizes being our criteria.)
We're going as Herman and Grandpa Munster (me being Herman since I'm tall and lanky.)
Anyone else planning Halloween this far ahead like I do?

I do.
Every year people from the drama department have a huge house party called the Boo Bash.
Last year I won best couple costume (Whorethy and the Scarecrow).
This year I'm going solo as Little Red Ridingho.
Oh Judy, defacing fairy tale characters...WOOO!
I think the Old Lady in the Shoe was a whore.

she definately didn't know what birth control was!
Haha, you guys are crazy. . . Last year I was Velma from Chicago and my one friend was going to dress as Roxie but she went as Marilyn Monroe instead last minute.
This year I want to do spice girls or maybe Jem for a group thing.
got a friend coming to town for a week, and she wants to see the Halloween Parade, and then i'm off work for a week, and we are going to see the debut of an AMAZING cabaret artist... she is also going to want to se a couple of shows, so we'll see...
This will be redhot's cabaret DEBUT??? My goodness. I can't wait to get the details - I am SO there!
I will be packing the last of my boxes and moving the next morning to NYC

In a last minute frenzy last Halloween, I too, was Velma Kelly. There are pictures in my fan photos.

Si.
God, I hope not.
I'm reviving my costume from 2003. Neil Patrick Harris' nude scene in CABARET....

I am going to the final NY performance of I Am My Own Wife.
Maybe I'll wear a shower cap and go as me taking a shower... I'd need somone to come with me, though, to poor the water and soap on me....
watch out Cats..the spelling police will get you for that one...poor/pour.
Halloween is a huge thing at my college. Our main street is shut down and people come from all around... and from several other colleges to just walk the street. I dont find it particularly exciting,...of course, I am not drunk so that might have something to do with it. But i have no idea what I should be. I think any broadway reference would be lost to everyone here... I will probably just end up slapping something together at last minute if I am here!

hm...i have no clue what i'm doing this year for halloween. i'm gonna be belle from BATB though.
I dress up as crap from musicals pretty much every holloween. They don't ALL get lost. Phantom works, Oz crap works, a flapper from Millie would work, a 60s drag queen would work, disney crap works, now even DRACULA is a Broadway referance. There are a lot of costumes you could do that YOU would know it's Broadway and others would just assume a general idea... Updated On: 8/24/04 at 09:13 PM
I would love to be Millie but flapper seems to be overdone here and I hate wearing the same thing as other people. I like creativity!
Plus, we must factor in that it is usually cold!
I always do last minute Halloween costumes. Why, I went as Helga: The Sweedish Maid, Richard Simmons, a Tourist, a nun...it all depends on what I have lying around.
Note: I don't always have a nun outfit around...our school did Sound of Music, so I stole one.

Haha When I walked into my bar dressed as Velma (we did a huge halloween thing), 4 people who are heavy into theatre knew who I was. Everyone else thought I was a Robert Palmer back up dancer lol

I sew year-round so I have a wardrobe department at my disposal to choose from. This year the top contenders are Arwen's mourning gown from TTT and Kit Kat girl. Yes, I made a Kit Kat costume (it's not that hard--it's only underwear!) but I don't know where I can wear that one. It's pretty, er, scandalous. I'd probably get mistaken for a prostitute and get arrested.
