I just bought my weekly pile of magazines. Jen & Vince Talk Marriage! Jen Finally Over Brad! Jen Calls Shiloh "Gorgeous!"
I don't know...maybe it's me...but she just rubs me the wrong way. Okay, it sucks that the marriage didn't work. But, please, shut up about it. Personally, I'm not even buying that the Vaughniston relationship is even real.
She, Britney & Eva Longoria need to just fade away for awhile.

Not as much as I'm sick of Angelina & Brad.
Something we can ALL agree on...
i'm with Goth. I think Jennifer has actually grown on me since the Brad and Jen split. Angelina and Brad simply disgust me. But Jennifer is a genuinely pretty, smart, funny person whose work I enjoy immensely.
I'm guessing that she would be perfectly happy not having this kind of exposure in the tabloids. Having your marriage fall apart and immediately being replaced by a combination of Wonder Woman and Mother Theresa is bad enough, but having the whole world reading about it must REALLY suck. And all the fuss about Shiloh and the speculation about how Jennifer "feels" about it is just the icing on the proverbial cake.
I agree that I sick of seeing her face everywhere with headlines about all the intimate details of her life. But I sort of see her as the victim here.
I think she is finally coming into her own and breaking out of that 'Rachel' mold. She turned in a fine performance in her most recent movie, Friends With Money (an interesting study on the current downfall of the heterosexual relationship). Give her some more time. Someone needs to take a chance on her, give her a solid dramatic role.
eh, they all rub me the wrong way.

that has happened already, foster, and the film is called "the good girl"

Nope. I've always loved Jen and find her to be vulnerable and goofy and relatable. And I think she's much better off with Vince Vaughn. He's not "Swingers" gorgeous anymore, but he's hilarious. I even find puffy, bloated Vince hotter than Bland Pitt.
P.S. RobbO, yup! She was excellent in The Good Girl.

She really needs to spend a few months with a good drama coach. She needs to prove that she can play a strong woman role, otherwise all of her dramatic work will be victims and she'll have a future only with Lifetime Movie of the Week.
Is it her, or is it the press? I don't know if I blame *her* for the endless headlines; that's different than her sitting down for 4,000 interviews to talk about her intense heartbreak, or whatever. She's done a few, but I don't think she's going overboard.
Whatever, I like her.
You can't blame her that the magazines always put her pictures on their covers. Her image obviously sells, but I doubt she's the one walking around saying, "take a picture of me", etc.

She once said in an interview that fame was difficult for her because people would be taking pictures of her when she was in the store buying toilet paper. Her point was that even the everyday things in life were made more difficult because of fame.
that only happened once. and i was really excited because she also uses charmin like i do!

"that only happened once."
But did it have to be the time she was using a 2 for 1 coupon?
I could not imagine someone wanting to follow me around all day just to get my picture. These celebrities have all the money in the world, yet they don't have their freedom. I'm not sure I could deal with it.
I think I'd hire someone to buy my freakin' toilet paper, tho.

Yeah, but when you are out of toilet paper you can't wait around until your personal assistant shows up with a roll. Know what I mean?
OMG yes, Moxie, I totally agree with you- on both Aniston and Eva Longoria. I'm a little meh about Britney (don't really care much one way or the other), but replace Britney with either Teri Hatcher or Gwynnie and that'd be my trifecta of actresses that I am so over.
I totally don't get the appeal of Aniston on the big screen- Friends was cute and all (well, I stopped watching at around season 6 or so, but I did really enjoy it up to then), but I haven't enjoyed an Aniston movie since Office Space, and I really don't get what the big deal is.
Jen Finally Over Brad! -Aniston the only woman ever dumped in the history of the free world!
Jen Calls Shiloh "Gorgeous!" -Cause we all care what the babydaddy's ex-wife thinks of his child with someone else. Anakela calls Shiloh "gorgeous!" too- so what?
Ugh- so over her.
See Anakela, that's the point I was trying to make. I highly doubt that Jennifer is making commentary to the press. It's all highly speculative, yet the press makes it seem as if they're her own words.
I think some of the headlines are absolutely ridiculous. Of course, she's not the only one who has ever been dumped, but according to the press, she is.

Most of the writers these days have never heard of poor Debbie Reynolds.
she's the one that makes those delicious snack foods, right?
No, she makes the plastic food storage wrap.
my bad. i always get those two confused.
"that only happened once. and i was really excited because she also uses charmin like i do!"
Isn't that because her dad was Mr. Whipple?
