I told my family that this is my favorite TV show of all time. So freaking funny!
I saw it. So awesome. Dwight testing out the validity of that girl's ability to punch... "she's not that strong!" aaah... such a great show. If Arrested Development is canned, at least I'll still have this show for my comedy fix.

Bravo to the casting director for finding kids who could really act, and who seemed "real", rather than typical Hollywood brats.
I actually watched it for the first time last night ... very funny!
I agree with Jon about the child actors. The look on the poor, little girl's face after she asked if she could help ... priceless!
I love "The Office" more and more with each episode.
And was it just me, or were the scenes with Michael and that adorable little girl oddly touching? I wonder if she's Steve Carell's daughter?

I love this show! I agree with BroadwayChica - thank goodness there's something good to watch now that Arrested Development was cruelly taken off the air.
I just wish that The Office was a little longer. I'm always so dissapointed at the end when it's over.

Very funny. I still prefer the BBC The Office, but the NBC one is a different animal. When they announced Steve Carrell would be the lead, I was a little suspicious - could he carry the show? But he's great for this version.
It's a nice substitution for Arrested Development.
My parents and I were watching it, and we were HOWLING! It was HILARIOUS! It's such a great show, and it's a shame that so few people know about it. I think it's even funnier than the British version (yes, I've seen both). Dwight just cracks me up.
Nothing will ever replace the UK Office. That was a flawless, beautiful series.
But The US Office is a great, great show, and it stands on its own. It's almost made me forget that it's a US VERSION of The Office - It just seems like a completely different show.
I wish we lived in a world where shows like these are the norm, instead of the exception. But, alas...
And is it sad that I still haven't given up hope that AD will return next year? Sob

No, it's not sad, unless you mean come back on FOX. Then it's pathetic. It likely will be picked up by Showtime for a fourth (and as in the current deal, suposedly, a fifth) season. The only reason it hasn't been announced yet is that FOX has yet the OFFICIALLY cancel Arrested Development. They have gone as far as publicly saying that there is a very small chance of it coming back on FOX, but first they wanted to wait untill after the 2-hour season finale, now they seem to be waiting until they announce next year's fall programming. And until FOX OFFICIALLY cans Arrested Development, no officail talks for anyone else to pick it up can occur.
I actually know all that jam_man. I keep hearing that the Showtime deal is SO close, and that the only true hesitation is from Mitch Hurwitz himself... but, for some reason, it just seems like false hope. As if Fox is delaying the cancellation on PURPOSE, just to make sure no deal is ever made. Still, so many people say that it's all but a done deal... But I'm a masochist.
I'm optimistic, but I think I'd rather believe that AD will be no more, so that if (when?) Showtime does pick it up, it will be a welcome surprise.

My favorite show in TV in years very funny and touching at the same time!
Yeah, I love that about The Office. Like another fav of mine, Sports Night, they definitely have a great balance of quality comedy and some wonderfully touching points.
