Anyone doing any summer shows?

Just curious if anyone on the board as a show lined up for the summer or if they are auditioning (Break a Leg!)

I'm doing a show with my theater group. My director always picks no-name shows that no one's ever heard of. But I won't know until the summer!

I'm doing the King and I in July. Might be doing another show, but I'm not sure what it is going to be yet

I'm auditioning for Tom Sayer in a like a month for the Arlington Children's Theater in MA. I've done a couple shows with them and it's always been fun. I do hate however that for auditions they're going to teach everyone a song to sing and not be able to bring thier own. And I really felt like singing "The Wizard And I"! Not that I'd be able to anyway since the sheet music isn't out . . .

I'm not sure what I'm doing either. I auditioned for Les Miz, but the second audition didn't happen yet and I dont know if I made it. Fingers crossed! I think I had a good audition- a little out of tune on the Eponine belting scales but it was fun. I read for Fantine and Madame Thenardier- we'll see what happens!

i love summer shows, ha
well im auditioning for "footloose" with this theater troupe in july, harsh competition i've heard. if that doesn't work out, im taking acting classes, and continuing year round vocal coaching. hoping footloose works out though!

Doing a production of "A Dublin Bloom," and adaptation of James Joyce'"Ulysses" with Irish Rep in Chicago

Just had a costume fitting this evening.

I will be near Chicago doing the Northwestern Summer High School Institute...so I will be putting on whatever show they decide to put on!!!

I'm auditioning for the role of Dolly in a community theater production. I'm sure they'll be too scared to cast a male in the role, even though I'll be hands down better than any woman who auditions along with me. They should see how good I look in a bustle!

I have had two rehearsal for Seussical so far and the cast is great. We have had a lot of fun so far with this show.

(Oh dolly please tell me you put they're instead of their on purpose! )

poor lamb, a "stunn gunn " kinda messes with your brain doesn't it, but I hear it's wonderful when applied to foot injuries. Are you able to drive at all?

AND... I would pay top dollar to see you as Dolly! :: just picturing you at the top of the stairs at the Harmonia Gardens:: is priceless!

Its a possibility I may audition for "Camelot" in the summer. But I'm not too sure just yet because of having to work A LOT. We'll see what happens.

I'll be choreographing "Annie Get Your Gun" (revival), playing a chorus role in "She Loves Me" and Directing/choreographing "Nunsense" at Tibbits Opera House in Michigan. It'll be a fun summer!
