Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone is in the same boat right now. I really need some advice. I'm in my late 20s I live in ny and work in financial services, but I have been a theater buff my whole life. I work insane hours with backstabbing colleagues and I really feel as if things have reached a breaking point-- I need a creative outlet or I am going to go crazy. I have no idea how I ended up in this job or what the heck I'm doing.
It's probably time for a career change, but I'm not ready for that yet. Do you know of any good evening acting classes where someone who is a bit rusty and older would feel comfortable? I haven't taken class or been in a production since college, but I am so emotional I just feel as if now is the right time. Plus I have lost a ton of weight due to stress so I feel that physically I have never been in better shape.
Anyone else feel the same right now? Please respond or pm me if you have advice or want to chat. I feel so lame posting on a student board, but there is no- life crisis board (thogh there probably should be)
Thanks in advance. K
