>>"LOL! Sorry...Dolly & Roxie still hold the record, bless their little ole' hearts. I'm mid 50's ...and thankfully in great health...(no kiddin')!
I'll be there soon enough, but I'll never catch up to ya'... Nice try, though."<<
Okay, Pati, we'll respect a woman's prerogative to fib about her age.

I don't need Chelsea to make me feel old. I have grown-ass kids and a granddaughter. Besides, I am feckin' OLD!

DP, I'll graciously accept respect along with the fact that I am an 'honest' woman of a certain age, still naming sea shells at the beach.
As a close friend boasted to me, "if we can still walk with or without help, see reasonably well, know our name and we're not wearing depends we're still ok."
My dear mother lingers in a nursing home at 89 yrs. old, so treasure your life at whatever age.

Now we have to find a way to get Mr Roxy out to California so he can celebrate his birthday in the Redwood Forest. He was a mere pup when he planted those trees!

"Standing O"????
Does that mean "standing ovulation"? If so, it wouldn't apply to Mr. Roxy. (The old buzzard is male!)

Oh Dolly -- STOP, Stop, stop -- you and Mr. Roxy and have been playing old fart buddies -- KNOW IT ALL guys on this board for a long time. And so play along with Pal, Besty, and me. Mr. Roxy has taken great pains to be an historian of the great theatres around the country-- not just NYC. (and P.S. to your long forgotten, psuedo-arch-enemy and secret friend ALBIN)
Oops, forgot, Corrine.
XOXO, your friend,
Tommy

The term "old geezer" was created with Dolly in mind.

I knew I was old over the July 4 weekend. I was in my parent's basement going through boxes. I opened one and there were my mother's VHS tapes of Angela Lansbury aerobics. It was all so 1980s. Angela even had shoulder pads on her track suit.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I feel old, but thank God, the kids I'm working with think I'm in my mid 30's...
I just laughed...

Mr Roxy knows plenty about old theatres. He built some of the great ones in Ancient Rome. He was buddies with Diocletian.
