If you sing a love song at an audition, have you ever feared that the casting directors may think that you're hitting on them?

no... theres a reason that its called musical THEATRE
I have fear of singing to another person in character. Something I need to get over but it's really weird for me
Hahaha great now I'm just going to think the casting directors are going to think I'm hitting on them next time I'm at an audition.

lol I used to when I was really young, like 9. I sang "hopelessly devoted to you" from grease because it was forced upon me, anyways I was so upset the night before and I finally went and asked my mom if she thought they'd think I love them lol.
anyways, once you have to undertake something that comes close to a makeout session on stage for two weeks straight you pretty much get over everything like that. Especially when the song yhou're singing is "from this moment on" oh god dont even remind me. Nothing can beat that akwardness lol.
No. ^^ But I can understand it being a little awkward. Perhaps you should try singing as many love songs as you can in uncomfortable situations, as to realize this is an irrational fear?
I don't think this is a fear. I think this is an aspiration. If you can deliver the song so well that they do think you are singing to them, you've got a good leg up on getting the part!
