Given the circumstances, and the fine line he had to walk, I thought it was an amazing speech. He addressed the controversy, and didn't shy away from the difficult topics.
The link below contains the prepared text of the speech. I think he strayed from it a couple of times, alluding to previous speakers, but nothing of substance.
