Former Bush speechwriter David Frum just tried to equate Rachel's tone on her show to the violent rhetoric at McCain/Palin rallies. I can't wait for this video to be posted!

She handled him very well. God, I love this woman. She was respectful but firm in her questioning.

i was just watching it. first off, that guy is a huge dick, and secondly, i love rachel more than ever. she handled it with incredible class and intelligence. she's fantastic.

I think he confused Olbermann with Maddow. She is far less snarky.

Wow, he did come off like a complete tool! Good for her! She slapped him down and handed his head back to him, without ever once losing her cool or over talking him!

I just saw it. I agree with you guys that she handled Frum very well. I thought that maybe after the commercial break, she was gonna rip him apart but she didn't, which gives her even more credibility in what she does. Props for Ms. Maddow.

The guy was an idiot and he didn't even make any sense. I kinda hope he makes it to Keith's Worst Persons list tomorrow. What a dumbass.

What an ASS!!! He looked like a rambling fool with no real grasp of Rachel's repeated question of "Do you think my show is equivalent to yelling 'kill him' from the audience?" A simple yes or no and brief explanation would have sufficed. But instead like most Republicans her skirted around the question and by the end of each run-on sentence he made a somewhat snarky remark and facial expression that made him look very disrespectful on HER show. When you're a guest anywhere especially on a TV show you act respectfully, don't talk over people and all around you don't act like a jackhole.

I have so much respect for any man or woman who can do what Rachel did. She didn't get crazy heated, but was obviously somewhat annoyed by Frum's implications. However, she handled him with such poise and grace that it just made him look even worse than he already did.

He's a bitter, failed asterisk to the Bush years. He coined "axis of evil" and now must live with its constant irony-laden application to the very regime he served so loyally. As far as Repub elitism goes, he's a huge snob, too, and if locked in a room with Sarah Palin, would pull the chord for the butler in about 90 seconds.
