Anyone ever buy a car at auction?#1

I need to buy a car for the third time in less than twelve months (one car died on the road, two totalled in accidents), and I'm considering going to an auction. There are several out there, some of government owned vehicles, and some of privately owned. Has anyone had any experience with either, and can recommend a reputable one, somewhere near northern NJ? Thanks.

I can't recommend one for you, but repo auctions/sales often have very good buys. I know people who have bought repos and have been very happy with them. With today's economy there are probably some very good deals on late model cars out there. Just my opinoin.
