It was a show on Showtime that lasted 3 seasons and starred Toni Collette.I recently started watching it on DVD and am in love with it! It is about a suburban family whose mother suffers from dissociative identity disorder and how her alters affect the family. If you don't know it, please check it out. I'm completely obsessed.

I don't watch a lot of t.v shows so take this as you will but I think it was one of the finest written t.v shows of the last ten years. It blew my mind week after week. I wish more people knew about it!

Absolutely loved it. I wish more people I knew had also watched it. I had no one to talk to as I was going through. Kier Gilchrist was great as her son.

I completely agree! The whole cast was wonderful! Especially Toni and Kier!

The first season is superb, and Toni Collette's Emmy and Golden Globe wins were well-deserved. But the show started going off the rails in season two, and the third season is terrible.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body
