I know this is an odd question, but anyone know a website where I can order 12 pairs of identical white sweatpants (or really any pants that can be used to go over other pants as long as they're all the same style and white) for kids ages 12-14? I need them as costumes for a play, and well, I'm stumped. None of the stores in the area had them, that I could find...
I don't want to spend TOO much money - maybe 10-15 bucks a pair at most. If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it.
Did you perhaps ask any of the fabric stores in town? (Like Hancock, maybe?) Usually a craft store will have connections to materials that you just can't find on your own - including T-shirts and sweatpants.
did ya try places like sports authority ?
Hmm - no, good idea. I went to the department stores in the mall, Target, Walmart, and another smaller store....
Sports Authority is a good idea...
And I'll try to find the fabric store - guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow!

Even some place like K-Mart or Target may have something,

scrubs are very very easy to hem to fit a child...

I'll agree with a fabric or craft store...like A. C. Moore or Michaels. Or, if there is a local place that silkscreens sweatshirts and stuff like that, they'd definately be able to order them for you...although they might not be the cheapest...

if they're going to be going over pants you may want to find something lighter than sweats.

Abba, I was thinking that also but maybe the sweatpants are something their character wears. Or, maybe they need to be that thick to cover what's underneath (if it's a dark color)....I don't know.
He may have a reason, I haven't a clue.
he's not even logged on anymore. lol
I'm still here - thank you all so much!
Just a word of advice......
We had to wear white pants or skirts in high school as part of our touring choir casual uniform. If they aren't thick enough, and one is wearing colored or patterned "undergarments" , you can see much more than you expect! We still tease my one friend about the time he work blue striped boxers under his white pants!
Leaning more and more towards the sweatpants then!
i would just have then wear sweatpants then, not sweatpants over other pants. it gets very hot on stage with the lights.
They have to change onstage - there's no other choice. It's crucial to their roles - the good news is that those who have to change only need to be in the sweatpants for about five minutes.

You could also check out karate pants. When I did Joseph and we had the little kids, they wore like the white karate pants. They are lighter, but completely opaque.

Jason, have you gone online to Target, Walmart, Pennys, Sears, etc....often online they have things not at the stores
also searched on google "white sweatpants", and came up with amazon.com, and
