Archway Cookies Are Gone!

I just learned that Archway Cookies have gone bankrupt. As a recovering diabetic, their sugar-free line was a staple in my kitchen cabinet.

Sad. Terribly sad.

WHAT???

I've been eating Archway lemon cookies quasi-religiously since I was a young'un. Now I'm going to have to make due with some inferior brand.

I grew up in Ashland, the home of Archway Cookies. Their plant was on Claremont Avenue and you could drive down Claremont and put on five pounds just smelling the plant. I can't count the number of friends/relatives I knew working there during my life.

We have a General Mills factory here and it's near the hockey arena, and when you leave the games it totally smells like cheerios and cocoa puffs.
