I just learned that Archway Cookies have gone bankrupt. As a recovering diabetic, their sugar-free line was a staple in my kitchen cabinet.
Sad. Terribly sad.

WHAT???
I've been eating Archway lemon cookies quasi-religiously since I was a young'un. Now I'm going to have to make due with some inferior brand.

Posted: 12/7/08 at 5:53pmI grew up in Ashland, the home of Archway Cookies. Their plant was on Claremont Avenue and you could drive down Claremont and put on five pounds just smelling the plant. I can't count the number of friends/relatives I knew working there during my life.
