Are you as embarrassed by Congress as I am?

You should be. What the hell are they doing spending our tax dollars on baseball!? What, exactly, is the point? It's a he said/he said situation. Only a mental deficient (which mostly seems to describe Congress) would be unaware of the fact that all professional sports has been affected by steroid use. Who cares what Roger Clemens did? Make your proclamation against team owners and the various commissions, and move on to something that matters! The sad thing is that they really act like they believe they're doing something important. They're worthless. Please be more aware of your representatives, and give them as much attention (more)as you do the presidental election. Because they're really pathetic. They never seem to find the time to do anyting of value.

Congress has given into Bush in every confrontation, they gaveretroactive immunity to the telecoms - yes - as much as I don't want to agree with JohnBoy - I am embarrassed by Congress (but not as much as in having an immoral idiot as president).

I'm at the point where I'm sort of on autopilot when it comes to politics until the election is over. I'm still paying attention to what's going on, but I don't think there will be a whole lot of change until then.

I am embarassed by both the Congress and our President, but for me, the shame gets a lot more local. I live in NJ, so I get to be embarassed by our Governor and Legilsature as well. Even worse, I live in Essex County, so I get to be embarassed by our County Officials too. Even our town is terribly mismanaged, so for me, the shame is neverending.
