Plum, you did notice that all the jobs mentioned here are taken, right?
Oh, CM2 the Aquarium and the Lost Colony!
I haven't been out there in a while... Actually, the last time I was on that part of the coast was my 8th grade field trip. We were the "Ocracoke team."
"Miss Elphie, get out while you can. That's all I'll say. "
I'm trying. I get my degree at the end of the summer...mind you, it's in English as well...
I babysit for like 150 different families, and I teach Drama at a Kids Summer Camp.
I thought your job was "Professional Karen Ziemba Stalker"...
Oh, meffie, she is gonna kill you...
Watch it.
The truth hurts, Meffie...
I prefer Enthusiastic Supporter. Besides, she loves getting my Christmas cards...

I prefer Enthusiastic Supporter.
That's acceptable. In that case, I am an Enthusiastic Supporter to many...

I don't think I'd make a very good barber. Do they make hair scissors for lefties?
I'm a counter girl at McDonalds...oh the fun I have. It's basically so I can buy tickets to see the shows I want, seeing as my parents are not supportive of my theatre love ha. It's all good.
I'm a retired Government bean counter who now works as a volunteer at the Smithsonian Institution (with visitors to DC), at 3 different regional theatres, and also with cancer patients.
Somethings going to have to give though because I'm too broke to keep working as a volunteer. The problem I'm having is finding someone willing to actually PAY to have a half-crippled old lady work for them! (CM2 - could you use a house keeper? I LOVE that area you're in!)
cturtle---- I hate to tell you but when I was in elementary school, we did have library on a cart (along with music, and art). I now teach in the same district, and I still don't understand why the teachers just complain, but never seem to make their cases to the administration. It's as if they've all adopted the "well...we this is just what happens" attitude, and it drives me nuts.
Of course, I'll tell you that what really made me crazy was when the former principal told me that the order rooms would be taken away was 1. Music 2. Art 3. Library 4. Computer Lab
