Ohh my god!! I usually have such respect for all of you but I cannot even believe that there are people on this board who think that she is talented. Ugh I don't know what your thinking?? She cannot sing for anything and if it's possible she may be dumber than Jessica. At least Jessica can sing and if I were her I'd be pretty pissed that my talentless sister was making $$ off my career and talent!! Ookkk I guess I'm done ranting!!

It's on now and she is talking about how the session is going badly.

On the other hand, last week we heard her live in concert and she sounded great.

Whoa. Whoa. Okay, I'll admit that I'm running to Cara's defense in part because she's my best friend, and even in cyber-space, that's my job. But still... Annie, don't you think that things like "Don't be a bitch," "step off," and "I have no respect for you now" are just a *teeny* bit excessive for something SO irrevelevant as how well Ashlee Simpson can sing (or not sing, for that matter)? I'm not going to get involved in the actual debate because, quite honestly, I just don't care that much and it really isn't worth my time. But please. Something that's a little bit less of a blatant attack would've gotten your point across just fine. I mean, maybe Cara's comments could've been worded a bit better as well (much as I love you dear, I guess it was a bit harsh) but still... what you said was completely uncalled for. What happened to being able to openly expressing your opinions? That's all she did. You didn't need to respond that way.

I personally dont care for her at all. She seems like a nice, respectable person from her show. but when you hear her singing live its, IMO, bad. She is flat or off key, or she cracks. Her CD might be good, but you can bet good money that either her voice was modified, or alot of alterations were made to it. I love that song that she has - i think she is talented in the fact taht she writes some good songs. But that doesnt me she can sing!

Different opinions are respected and welcome on this board, lets all remember that!

I've had that problem for a really long time. Alice Ripley needs to get noticed as well. She is an amazing writer. I love the Broadway stars that write and perform their own music. It is great when they release it on CD. I own both of Idina's CDs and I have Alice's CD. All are amazing. No one besides us theatre folk knows about them though. It makes me so mad!

Zoran, YES YOU SHOULD. It's soooooo good. I love it a lot more than I thought I would. And the fact that he plays guitar on it doesn't hurt, either. The new one's coming out soon!!

i love adam (is this going to be another thread jack? ) hate hillary, think that there are a lot of broadway stars who deserve good selling cds, and think that ashlee would not have been anywhere if it had not been for her sister.
