I just got her CD and I really do not think that it is bad at all. Actually I really like it. Anyone else have this CD or have comments?

I like her. She's a bit edgy with an interesting voice and amazing stage presence as evidenced by last weeks' Ashlee episode where she performed in her first-ever concert. I was very impressed.

Yes, that concert looked like a great time. I enjoy her more than Jessica and Brittany for sure. I love her edge!

I like Britney - I think she can put on a good show and I like her music. I used to like Jessica, until she started having seizures every time she opened her mouth to sing.

haha. my friend has her cd and we were listening to it in the car. she has a good voice. some of the songs are really cute.

I dont like it how they always say "jessica's little sister." It kinda gets annoying, its like she is her own person!

Right now she's still in Jessica's shadow because Jessica is SO well known, but she's headed in the right direction to remedy that.

I cannot stand Jessica Simpson's voice. And, after hearing live recordings, I think that anything that's even passable on her albums most be extremely doctored, as she's an over-singer who cannot keep from going sharp for the life of her.
I don't mind Ashlee (although I'm not a fan of her haircut). Her voice is just alright, but her songs seem to be relatively well written. It's not bad for a first effort.

Hilary Duff is not that great...
As for Ashlee, I haven't gotten her CD, but from what I've seen on TV, I am not a fan of her voice. I love the show, though!

Yes, brainwise she seems to be on a par with Jessica. She can perform, though. I really enjoyed her concert and will probably purchase her CD.

If there's any justice, TheaterBaby. Jessica is becoming a caricature of herself, which is sad considering she's barely in her mid-20's. Doesn't bode well for her future career.

Hilary Duff is a wretched singer.
Every time one of her songs comes on the radio at work, my co-workers and I just get enraged for the duration and question how on Earth she got a recording contract, and why Disney feels the need to encourage their pass-around stars beyond their talents.

I am not the biggest Jessica Simpson fan, but shes a million times better than Hilary Duff or Britney Spears!
I also feel so bad for Ashlee. That song where she is talking about being in her sisters shadow, it just made me so sad for her. She seems so desperate to gain her parents acceptance. I hope shes succesful in her endevours. She's every bit as good as her sister!
I wish the rev Simpson was my dad so he could make me a star too! (well maybe just my manager b/c i do like my own dad)

YOu gotta admit that Jessica is smart. That girl has herself everywhere right now. Not to mention acting like an idiot. Its a lot more entertaining to watch than someone totally knowledgable. Its a sad state of affairs, but its true.

I have Ashlee's cd and think she is amazing.. she is also a great writer. Much better than Jessica and her covers!
