I remember a lot of people on this board giving reviews of HOW I PAID FOR COLLEGE: A NOVEL OF SEX, FRIENDSHIP, AND MUSICAL THEATER but I haven't seen any reviews of the sequel.. I am currently reading it now and it still has the same quirks and "never could happen" moments, but it's really good so far.

I read it late last year and really enjoyed it. Definitely over the top in spots but funny.
I read it in 2 days on vacation in the mountains. Loved it. I agree it was over the top in spots, but it is a fun read.
I loved the 1st book so I'll have to buy this!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu
I thought it was okay, but not nearly as good as the first one. I went to one of Marc's signing's last April/May, I think it was. He read/acted out some of the book with some parts accompanied with a keyboardist. Very nice, funny guy. I think I'll get it out again and give it another shot.

Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
Just finished it. It must be my many years on this website and the "almost crucifixions" of those that spell it wrong, but Marc kept spelling it "theater" and not "theatre." Even in the title, it is spelled wrong.
There were some things I didn't like about it, but it was a good, entertaining read. Like the first book, there was a lot of "no way" things that kinda irritated me, but it is just supposed to be a fun read.
The first book is better though.
Also, the CONSTANT bashing of ALW got on my nerves. Okay, we get it...you don't like him. Do we have to read about it every other chapter? It was an easy target and he went there.
I read it earlier this year. I liked it a lot. It's definitely hard to put down.
