I usually dress relatively casually when seeing shows (nice jeans and a cute shirt) but tonight I am going to the Broadway Beauty Pagent. Anybody know what would be appropriate to wear?
well a swimsuit would probably be required for that portion of the contest, no?

Don't forget the sash with your state on it.
vaseline and pam.
Edit: Does any decent poster on this board actually have a serious answer? It would be appreciated, thanks.
^^^there's your answer. to both questions.^^^
You're still in the audience, so I figure what you usually wear is fine. No point going all out in a fancy gown; I guarantee there'll be a whole assortment of people in jeans and sweatpants. Maybe you could class yourself up a little more if you felt like it, but I wouldn't go all out. ^_^
Somms is the expert. He should know!
So, do you tape the cutlets on, SOMMS? Or do you just make sure they're moist and apply directly on the body?
Same nice jeans but an extra cute shirt.
Ask yourself: What would Frankie James Grande wear?
Thanks Pal Joey and Weez. Thats basically what I was planning to wear but I didn't want to feel awkward.
Taz, you tape the girls up and in and then place the cutlets on top to fill in any gaps.

Osage - there are some who think it's NEVER appropriate to wear jeans to a theater, and that hasn't bothered you before. I say wear what's comfortable without getting you arrested.
Thanks DG, I just wasn't sure if I should dress a but more formal for this, but I do want to be comfortable.
No offense Osage, but with five almost naked chorus boy contestants on stage and an audience full of Chelsea bois, I don't think it really matters. Be comfortable.

I agree. And sorry for being an ass before. It was just the first thing that popped into my head.
We were joking osage. That's how we here on the OT board say "love".
But I still say go in a swimsuit. Just for kicks.
DGG, you weren't being an ass. Don't apologize for having a sense of humor.
