Audition Song for Legally Blonde

Hi all! I have an audition coming up in a few days for Legally blonde the musical and could use a little hive-mind help with song selection. I am a soprano with a fairly strong belt and strong mix. The audition is requesting a “pop/rock” song. I’m hoping to get the part of either Vivien or a Delta Nu sister. Right now I’m looking at the following: 1. Paramore - Still Into You 2. No Doubt - Don’t Speak 3. Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without U 4. Something by Elton. I’m super out of the game when it comes to theatre auditions (I have been working as a vocalist for some time now) so I’m not sure if this is even what the director might want... does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for your assistance!

While I’m certainly not an auditioning expert, I would suggest you pick a song you can sing with fairly high energy, because Delta Nu sisters are loud and energetic! Sing a song that you feel comfortable singing. If you really dislike singing a song or are super uncomfortable singing it, you might stop trusting your self and it will likely show. Best of luck!
