All of these repsones are super interesting and exactly what I was hoping for . Maybe I'll save up enough to buy some tickets, maybe I will try and snag a seat filler position. Thanks so much!

Jordan Catalano said: "They’ll be RUSHING out of the theatre to get ready for the awards. You’ll really be wasting your time waiting at any stage door (unless it’s “Be More Chill”, cuz what else do they have to do that night). "

It actually is Be More Chill. I was kind of avoiding saying it because I didn't want the insults for going to see it. (Please just let me live my life) I figured since the only award they were n

Have you ever attended the Tony’s

Have any of you ever actually attended the Tony awards? What was the experience like? Was it worth the cost of the tickets? For reference, I’m someone that is impressed to know I’m in the same room as people I admire and just being able to see them. (I know that kind of sounds weird but anyways) What are your thoughts?

Stage Door on Tony’s day outlook?
 Jun 4 2019, 10:00:19 PM

I have heard that often times, on the day of the Tony’s, a lot of the normal cast performs , sort of to show people wh9 may win the Tony’s. What I was wondering was whether or not you guys thought actors will still come to the stage door on that day. Would a lot of actors opt to skip the stage door to get ready for the Tony’s? For reference this is a show that starts at about 2 this Sunday and should be about 2 hours 30 minutes long

Way Too Early 2019 Tony Predictions thread

I think it is a general tragedy that anyone not into the original cast of a show is ignored, (not eligible ) when sometimes the second  and third casts and even beyond boast strong actors that were chosen especially on how they fit the role, not for sheer star factor. As an example, Ben Platt gave an extraordinarily emotional performance in DEH, but acting can’t cover up the fact you are an adult playing a teenager. The current Evan, Andrew, gives such an emotional and heart w

Women as Understudies for Male Roles?
 Feb 28 2019, 10:05:09 PM

I agree, although the jokes about secret gay email accounts may be slightly limited but I feel like that could be played with. Although since Connor would still be a male, it would sort of take away that aspect altogether . Maybe like a secret relationship email account? Then she could be like dude I’m gay.

Females as Understudies for Male Roles?
 Feb 24 2019, 08:14:11 PM
So I was watching a live stream from Andrew B Feldman (current Evan on DEH Broadway) and he was also with Gabi Carruba (Zoe and Alana U/S) and someone asked what her dream role she could never play was and she responded "Evan Hansen" but then Andrew said something like "Well you are 2nd u/s so who knows?" Does that mean that Gabi is the second understudy for Evan? I thought it didn't really make sense and I was missing something but it got me wondering if females were ever set as Understudies fo

I have a bad habit of doubting my own research, so I like to ask others for confirmation. Yeah we were planning to see it after it opened, when it went to one show on Sundays.

Please help me choose!

Be More Chill is uniquely teen centric, which I love. It is somewhat science fiction styled, and the sets are very flashy (in a good way) basically the stage has a lot of computer and electronic light up elements that really add to the show. It is certainly a modern musical, but so is DEH. If you  have seen Dear Evan Hansen, then you should be okay with certain crude jokes or themes,  but I feel like I should warn you of such content in Be More Chill. They mention weed, p*rn is ment

Be More Chill Stagedoor/Performance Appearances

That’s completely understandable. I know some more established shows, such as DEH, have a couple shows where the understudies always perform, but this one has no such schedule. (DEH is undertstandable, because that role emotionally wrecks the actor everyday, so two shows a day is tough.) I was just curious if actors are more likely to take certain days off. As for stage door, I have heard that in general one show  Sundays are better because the shows ends earlier and there isn

Just looking for advice on which day you think would be the best to see the show in terms of seeing Will Roland or other leads instead of undertstudies (No hate for understudies they are amazingly talented and must be incredible in order to be an understudy for any role on broadway, however, I do really want to see Will Roland and/or George Salazar perform for a number of reasons) Would Sunday Matinee be an okay shot for seeing stars? I know 2 shows days are more iffy for seeing s
