#1Auditioning with sick voice (help!!)
Posted: 8/30/09 at 5:34pmMy voice is feeling strained lately and I have an audition coming up. So for extra procaution incase I am not able to get me voice hitting higher notes, I want to choose a song I can do now. I am have trouble with anything over a D above middle C. I am male, incase you didn't know. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also try eating/drinking something with honey the day and night before your audition (don't do it on the actual day or your throat will get clogged up) for it is very soothing.

Posted: 8/31/09 at 12:21amI just had to audition with a mild ear infection and a kickin sore throat. ugh. Right before my audition I ran to Starbucks and got a Grande Green Tea, two tea bags. And added honey. Audition went off without a hitch.
