Audra's WB show

My cable is out, so I couldn't watch. Anyone care to report if she is on the world's trashiest show, or is it amazing?

the website says that it doesn't premiere until next wednesday, but you can apparently view the first episode already online

Ah, praise Allah, because I didn't want to miss it and Time Warner doesn't update it's forward programming far enough in advance to set the DVR.

Arg too slow!

The WB has the Pilot online. There is an article in the Times today that says they are concerned about the recent FCC fines and cut some stuff from it.

The uncut version is available online or you can wait and watch the cut version when it premieres next Wednesday.

What did they cut in anticipation of fines?

re: Audra's WB show

From the Times article:

"After the F.C.C. decision last week to issue millions of dollars in fines against broadcast stations, the network's chairman, Garth Ancier, contacted Mr. Fontana and asked him to edit a number of specific scenes out of the show, including one that depicted two girls in a bar kissing on a dare and another of a girl unbuttoning her jeans."

It's an interesting look at the way networks are beginning to self censor in anticipation of FCC fines.

It's also interesting how gay moments get censored much more quickly than straight ones.

The show seems pretty awful. I was hoping it was going to be good, but it seems very lacking.

re: Audra's WB show

Audra's good, though.

And the boys are cute.

re: Audra's WB show

Touchme just posited two VERY good reasons to watch a show.
Minus Audra, it seems to be working for a bunch of shows on the WB.

re: Audra's WB show

Yes and yes, Touchme... but otherwise it's pretty poor.

Yes. But, did I mention the boys have their shirts off often?

re: Audra's WB show

I can't get the web stream to work beyond chapter one, but I'm hoping the show doesn't completely suck. I've been excited about it ever since I heard that Milo Ventimiglia was part of it.

re: Audra's WB show

I'm watching it online now. God-awful writing, a pathetically unrealistic representation of college and I'm only on chapter 3.

BG, did you click on the next chapter's number at the bottom? Each one loads independently.

re: Audra's WB show

I heard the show is awful, but they filmed it at my school, so I'm curious to watch.

re: Audra's WB show

The only part I liked (minus the hotties and Audra): "Opening yourself up... even if it means your heart and soul are crushed, thats what makes you stronger. That's what gives you the power to move on. To put your past behind you and get your heart stomped on again."

re: Audra's WB show

I had to roll my eyes when Zoe got all dramatic and was like, "I'm a virgin." Ooooh, there will be some consequence to that... and perhaps a lecture.

re: Audra's WB show

The only reason I want to see this is because it was shot at my school. Sounds AWFUL.

re: Audra's WB show

OK, so the other chapters do work for me, they just take forever and a half to load. Either a ton of people are watching this right now, or the WB's server is as crappy as the show. I'm going to go with the latter.
