Looks like I'll be picking up this book today, if I can find it anywhere.

It was a favorite in middle school.

I love that book so much. I read it so many times. I remember trying to think of places I could spend the night in.

I loved the 70s movie version, The Hideaways, when I was a kid. I haven't seen it in close to 30 years so I don't know if it was actually a good movie or not.

She lived in my hometown and our local newspaper only ran a regular obituary. There was nothing else in the media about her. She was such a great writer. My sister met her several years ago. R.I.P.

They remade it for TV in the 90s with Lauren Bacall. Ingrid Bergman was in the one from the 70s.
