BABY JANE Remake w/ Meryl & Sissy?

I was on IMDB and saw a listing for WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE w/ Meryl Streep and Sissy Spacek (both just "rumored) It looks like this project has been in development for a while but only recently with those names attached/rumored. Does anyone know anything about this?

^This has been rumored for quite some time with this cast, so I don't think there is any truth to it...just another IMDb title with fantasy casting, I suppose.

Streep, specifically is put on these lists a lot, when there is hardly any truth to the projects. In fact, it seems it's unknown what Streep is going to do after next year's Florence Foster Jenkins, because nothing's been announced.

I'm not a big fan of the prospect of a Baby Jane remake, either.

However, isn't there a project in development starring Susan Sarandon (and I forgot who else) about the behind the scenes drama of Baby Jane?

I don't know about any Sarandon film but it sounds good! And what got me excited about this was a new Sissy Spacek movie. She's one of the greatest actresses of all time who hardly ever gets a film to sink her teeth into.

And actually - while I'm not crazy about yet another BABY JANE film, Sissy as Blanche and Susan Sarandon as Jane would get me excited!
