How do you define "better"? Is "better" grieving over the death of a neighbor's reptile?
Is "better" pondering the futility of life?
Is "better" deciding on which tattoo will look best on your left thigh?
Is "better" watching the drunks parade out of the local liquor store, oblivious to the harm they are doing to themselves and others?
Is "better" fearing that our supply of fossil fuel may be depleted in out own lifetime?
What, I ask you, is "better"?

DP! Better, as in having a different and (hopefully) uplifted spirit. A gladness of heart. A different attitude. NOT being a sourpuss.
What has you so upset?

It's also my 17th Birthday hehehe
Barbra knew she was lousy as Dolly she has said so herself. She didn't want to take the role and said they should find an older actress. She ended up having to do it to complete a 3 film contract. To this day she says ut is her least favorite movie.

Happiness eludes me. Suffering consumes me. I weep for mankind.
Hey, wait a minute. Isn't that "happy" little ditty about death?

No talk can be happy when surrounded by the fog of death and gloom.
