My quest to see all Tony nominated performances took me to The Vivian Beaumont Theatre tonight. I went into the show knowing little about the premise and cast. Everything about the show was stunning especially the wonderfully authentic Italy set costumes, and lighting design. The entire cast was strong, Kelly O' Hara sang and acted the part of Clara beautifully,but seemed to lack a certain spark onstage. Has anyone seen the movie Jersey Girl? They perform from Sweeney Todd at a elementary talent show and the parents are horrified. It's pretty funny:)
