BRR...

Ok, it is 4am and I am awake and not happy about it. Our heat has gone out and I am freezing to death. My husband kept stealing the blankets so I am wide awake and cold. It is about 60 in this house and I hate being cold. Sorry for complaining, but grrr....

So how is everyone else's morning going?

Hah,

Here in western Canada it is quite warm, ironically enough. We had a Chinook today, a warm dry wind that swoops over the Rockies and is AMAZING. Also, the sky today was stunning all day and I have never seen so many shades of blue, purple, pink and orange.

Avika dear, I love you to bits, but talking about how warm it is there just makes me feel colder lol. I am tempted to go back to bed, steal all the covers and let him freeze for a while.

re: BRR...

Its 7am, I haven't been back to sleep and I am still freezing. We called the emergency number at 5 and they said they were sending someone right over. Still no maitenice guy and no heat. I am not a happy girl. I am acctually looking forward to work today just so I will be warm again.

I LOVE the cold!

re: BRR...

Kel, we've had highs of 80, which is unseasonably warm....and we do not turn on the heat at night, SO....when I wake up it is 58-60 in the house this time of year.

re: BRR...

The east coast has been hit hard with below normal temps .... and winter only "offically" started yesterday. I feel so bad for the thousands of people in NYC who have to walk miles in this weather to get to work.

re: BRR...

Oh I know it could be worse, I pity those people in NYC too, but I get grouchy and whiney when I am cold and tired. I am running on 2 hours of sleep and I have to drive over an hour to go get my car worked on today and an 8 hour drive tomorrow. I just want to sleep in a nice warm house...

re: BRR...

doxie, there is something inherently wrong with loving cold! But I love you anyway......and will have lots of questions for you as we get closer to coming to Poland.

My work partner is hosting two Polish teens for the Xmas holidays, friends of relatives, apparently they went crazy at Disneyland....and refused to leave.....until she promised to take them to Magic Mountain
