Obamacare news:
Stuff you don't hear in the media.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

I am currently unemployed. I am have to desperately scrounge up $770 a month for COBRA. Under "Obamacare" I would have access to much more affordable coverage through the statewide exchanges. I also would be eligible for a subsidy to help pay the premiums.

That would help me immensely.

To be fair to 'The Media'--this was front-page news on the digital version of the NYT for at least a day and a half.

Joe....I am paying $1013 for COBRA, I would gladly take your $770.

Even weirder, from Jan 2012 until Sep 2012 I was only paying $499 for COBRA from another job I was laid off of...ugh, it sucks!

It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story... AGATHA CHRISTIE, Life magazine, May 14, 1956

It depends on the policy and such Elphaba. It sucks either way.
