Ready, Set, Cook!!

"Applause begets applause in the theatre, as laughter begets laughter and tears beget tears." CLAYTON HAMILTON, "Theory of the Theatre" "I think theater ought to be theatrical ... you know, shuffling the pack in different ways so that it's -- there's always some kind of ambush involved in the experience. You're being ambushed by an unexpected word, or by an elephant falling out of the cupboard, whatever it is." TOM STOPPARD

There are plenty of good cooks in the BWW kitchens.

A number of recipes are floating around the ether in an older thread. There was an attempt earlier to get a cookbook off the ground and there were recipe contributions made. You might be able to snag the thread. I'd say this was sometime between January and July '04.

Oo! Excellent idea! Unfortunately, I can only make bowl noodles and..erm...popcorn.

This is my signature.

Very cool idea!

I once had a "Broadway Cookbook." It basically had recipes based (loosely) on lines from shows. Like, Guys and Dolls salad dressing -- from the line in "If I Were a Bell," -- "...if I were a salad, I know I'd be splashing my dressing." It even had Sweeney Todd meat pies. Umm -- pass.

That being said, my recipes suck, so I'll just have to try other people's stuff.

I saw the one from last year, thought maybe a new and improved version was in order. SO let's get listing!!
