Posted: 1/13/06 at 5:23pmIf any BWWers would like to hangout, several of us who are going to John's last show in DRS and will be meeting from 430-5:00pm at the Imperial. I was thinking of our group maybe heading over to Sbarros for some dinner before John Lithgow's last show. While there, we can chat, hang out, exchange bank account info, etc. You know, the works! All are welcome to come. I hope we can have a good time!

Oh man, I wish I could attend this. Sbarro's is legendary.
Hopefully, you will be entertained by this wonderfully mediocre talent who is also a friend of Geoffrey.
Sadly, while you guys are all hanging out at Sbarro's, I'll be stuck here reading my book.
Have fun!

Even if Pamela has taken the night off, there could be still be entertainment if Liir brings his laptop and shows off some ultra rare Norbert footage.
Hopefully Pamela will be there...she's a treat.

That was a pretty fun first night in the city despite me not feeling the greatest.
Best bag of chips I've had in a while.
I thought the other name was Ben, but I couldn't quite remember. I knew I remembered Geoffrey.
Liir, will you promise to try and get the same table as an ode to those of us who can't make it?

Sbarro's?
***shakes head and looks for and pines for a real Italian restaurant***
Anything that franchises to both aiports and mall food courts is not exactly a place that sounds inviting.

Then obviously you have never enjoyed the dulcent tones of our Lady of the Mata.

Is that before or after the double dose of Vicodin and a shot of Jack?

I wouldn't set foot in Sbarro without first consuming far more than that.
I have never gone willingly.

Now, now, now...whenever I am in New York City and I crave mediocre food and mediocre vocals I go to Sbarro. I will say that it's a great place in Times Square to accomodate a sizeable party with absolutely no notice.
FYI, if I am just craving the mediocre vocals I think I'll go to Rent.

Well, that's not what I heard!
She said you not only went, but ate willingly -
I read it on the BWW.com somewhere, so it has to be true!

I interpreted what you said in a FAR too inappropriate fashion YWIW, this is a family board.
That is why we must only eat at Shbarrto.

GASP - I had not even intended, but now that you mention it, that post could have a far more entertaining and satisfying meaning.
Look at what this Board is turning me into!
DOUBLE GASP!

Turning you into? Look at me, don't look at her, Look at me.
I am not craving the vocals or the food, at the moment at least.

SP that just made me think, for no good reason of:
She's my sister - slap - she's my daugher -slap- she's my sister slap - she's my daugher -big slap- . . . she's my sister and my daugter.
Off to go fight traffic.
Sbarro rules.

I just realized I never responded.
Sorry Sir Lirr, I can't make it to the reprise of our old school fun, I have a prior engagement.

Posted: 1/13/06 at 11:51pmHaha no problem guys. Sbarro was just a suggestion. I was just thinking back to our fun night. I am game for anywhere the party goes. But I am not bringing that cumbersome thing. Not with 100 pages of rewrite of my third book saved within ; ;

You should go to the 'barro, I mean especially if Pam is there.
If you can't bring the 'top, you can always bring one of those personal DVD players.

Well, if I am ever lucky enough to make it back to another get together at Sbarro, there had better be a screen with Norbs on it or else it won't seem authentic.
Hell, I'd even settle for some Shosh.
What is the new book that you are writing about, Liir?
