BWW I need an honest opinion (and I know you guys love giving that!)

About a month ago I got really really bored one night and decided I wanted to make a short (I am a aspiring film maker). I thought the short was pretty good (for something I made at 5 AM) and I thought the simplistic plot was very clear.

I just would like a few people to check it out and give me some honest feedback please and tell me if you understood the basic plot. I would really appreciate it!

The plot is supposed to be my character waking up on the 1 year anniversary of his best friends death and just remembering his old friend.

I thought this message was actually delivered a bit too easily but my "friend" swears I did not make it clear at all and said the video as a whole was "pretty dumb"

so please let me know.

I didn't get until the very end (the note) that the friend was dead... it seemed more like a guy just missing his friend who moved or something.

Yes at the very end is when you find out a few people also suggested the whole "they stopped being friends" "maybe they had a falling out" and as a film maker that's cool to me because it shows me people are thinking about my film and creating their own theories

Yes this "friend" of mine acted like it made NO sense what so ever I mean i agree there is no script or dialogue or anything but I thought it was decent for what it was

If you had not posted before that it was about a dead friend, I wouldn’t have understood either.
Ex-Boyfriend? Maybe…

Best Friend? Could be…

Why is he not there anymore? Not sure…

And the shot of you going through the tickets was also confusing unless explained before hand.

Maybe a photo album with a few shots of you as friends and then you turn the page and there is a newspaper article about how he died...?

I don't see a "plot" -- but rather a moment. But a nice moment.

But I agree with the other posters, it would not have been clear without your explaining. But I don't mind that it's not clear what it is an anniversary of...it's obviously something still on the mind of the character.
