Did I sound good tonight, Kitz?
Yes, you did.
Thanks folks, you've been a wonderful audience. I'll be selling my CDs by the stage. Drive safely now.
Kitz hasn't voted yet!
Oh no she di'n't!
By the way, Rath has called "November Rain" by GNR and "The Freshmen" by Verve Pipe, tentatively.
And ebonic_singer has called "I Will Always Love You", "Always Be My Baby" and "Vision of Love".
Oh, hold your horses. I haven't had a chance to listen yet. And you know this is based on talent, not just who I like

Hahahaha. Nice, spidey.
Thanks theatrebabe.
pssst, theatrebabe . . . vote for Spidey.
Hee, oh, Spidey, you KERAZY.
Speaking of which, you know I had no idea what this "My Humps" song you guys kept talking about was until I DLed it the other day, and damn if it isn't craptastic! I love it!
Kitz, that's a load of bull!
Wow - what a great round. Really nice to hear everyone do something different, and you were all really good at it, too! Ebonic, you made me proud to be from Georgia! Kitz, I'll be the Earl to your Wanda any day (except for that whole beating thing...) and WesternSky...no words. Props to Akiva as well for showing versatility...you've got a really nice low register, something that IMO goes very underappreciated in the singing world (both pop and theater).
Great job and good luck everyone!
Well if it's gonna be like that, I would like to put a hold on "Unbreak My Heart" and "Take A Bow". With keys being an issue for karaoke tracks, I have no idea just yet what will work, but I'm looking at one of those. Otherwise, y'all gittin another tune from Jerby: Fully Loaded! lol
Jerby, I say you do Human Nature if you can find a track for it.

Sorry babe, I already voted.
But why am I telling you this? I should just let you beg.
Jerby, if you do Criminal by Fiona and growl, "I've been a bad, bad girl", you WILL get my vote.
I have an idea of what I am doing and if I do the song I am thinking of, I am dedicating it to all you manwhores out there. haha.
Ah, that has a certain quality to it as well, Jerby.
Hell, I say go balls out and do a medley.
Madonna: "Human Nature"
Fiona Apple: "Criminal"
The Divinyls: "I Touch My Self"
Sinead O'Conner: Nothing Compares 2 U
That'd be niiiiiice.
Oh, hell no. "Criminal" belongs to robbiej! Y'all don't understand. Even IF I wanted to dare touch that song after having heard him do it, that bitch would scratch my eyes out!!
Okay then...my vote is for Mandy Moore's "Candy."
Tiff--Where are yours and Cam's critiques?
Where IS Cam??
Oh right, um, I'm off to do that critique right now. (Do you guys really CARE about this stuff? I thought I was just writing it to make myself seem all official and important!)
If anyone's having trouble coming up with ideas, this link has pages and pages and pages of people's Top 10 Songs of the '90s that are worth reading.
http://www.inthe90s.com/generated/toptensongs.shtml
Ladies, there was no '90s without Seattle grunge bands, pop-rock bands (Matchbox, GooGoo Dolls, etc.) and bubblegum boy bands.
Men, there was no '90s without Britney, Christina, Mariah (at the peak of her game) and the Angry Rocker Chick niche.
Just sayin'.
I have my picks narrowed down to 5. Now if I get through tomorrw **VOTE FOR SPIDEY** I will narrow it down.
I soooo <3 Jerby! Took the genre and ran with it!
Akiva, it was beautiful, but the accent was very inconsistant. If you are gonna try for a hard drawl during the verse, you gotta keep it up during the chorus.
(Haven't finished them all yet)
I dug Jerby's a lot too.
Don't forget, people! 2 votes tonight!
OMG! OMG! OMG! *fan girl hyperventilation* OMG! I <3 the 90s! That's almost as haaawt as Idina Menzel!
