You called my Shibbylicious!! I love it..
Of course I'm drinking Girly.. What do you take me for? A recovering alcoholic?
Oooo tell me about your date.
That's m'girl.
Not really much to tell...the greatness was in the simplicity :-P It was our second date, he's someone from BWW, actually...we saw a movie, went out for coffee/dinner after, and just talked for a couple hours. He is the cutest thing EVER! *le swoon*
Sometimes it's the simple dates that are the best.. So when is Date 3??
I dunno...something tells me it's whenever I want it to be. :)
oooo That's awesome!! **bounces with glee** I'm so excited for you
Aw, that's great. Good for you, Jaily!
Mornin Patronus..
G'morning, cam. How goes it?
It goes.. I have a ton of stuff to do today and dont want to do any of it.. How bout yourself?
Cam, where are your critiques/scores?
CRAP!! I got sidetracked by drama last night.. I will go pull them from my laptop and post them in the next 30 min..
I'm alive. I am still feeling like absolute crap. I am taking one more day off in hopes of not repeating this pattern by going out and doing too much too soon.
I am staying in today, but hope to be productive.
My roommate decided to pick today to stay home - so my two days to learn, rehearse, and record has turned into one - that is, if she doesn't decide to be sick tomorrow too.
In which case...well, I'm trying not to think about that.
Rath, you'd rock my world if you pulled out some Nirvana. All Apologies perhaps. :)
No chance of doing it with her there, Rath?

If only I lived in Monica's house. Or Windemere, perhaps.
Glad to see THIS thread's still here this morning.
Oh, this is about 75% confirmed, but since Shib and I will be whooping it up in Seattle from Monday - Wednesday next week, the "show" will probably not be until Thursday, with results on Friday. So song deadline isn't until Wednesday night.
Merry Christmas!
You just made my day!!!

Not my favorite song choice of the week, I felt like the song was dragging. You were with the music, this song just tends to drag. You also lacked the country flare. The notes were lovely and overall you did a good job. Cant wait to see what you have in store for us next week

You have the sweet soft voice market cornered, now lets see you blow us away. You were better on the emotion this week than last, but I still think you could have taken it further. You had more emotion than Allison Krause's orginal song, she did it sweet and soft. It was quite lovely. This was a great song for your range. You had a few flat notes, but over all bravo! Next week is the 90's gender reversal, bring it!

Way to bring it. You took this challenge and ran with it straight to Nashville. You embraced the genre. I am simply amazed by you right now.

Good job. You've adapted well to the different genre's so far. You are consistently a strong performer, with good even tone. Way to run with a genre that I know you aren't fond of! I have to applaud you.

This is a good song. You have the same problem this week as last week, your music and voice sound distorted and like they are dragging. I'm not sure what software you are using, but hopefully we can figure out the problem and get it fixed. You seemed to be a little bored, this song has powerful meaning behind it, try to convey that.

By far the most fun song of the week. You struggled a bit with your pitch, there were quite a few flat notes in there. What you lacked in perfect pitch, and you made up with in enthusiasm. You had the sarcasm and whit that is needed to pull off this song. I can't wait to see what you do next!!

Good job taking the pop out of this country song. Some of your e's and r's are too hard, but it's more forgivable in this genre. I have to admit that I was a little wary of this song, being dong by a male, but you did a good job. I like the use of your lower register in this as well. I have to say this is by far my favorite performance by you yet!

Faith who?? Was my first thought as I started to listen to this song. Your voice seems to fit comfortably in this genre. You did sound like you were struggling a little in a few spots but you did fabulously. The “this kiss” repeats is where you seemed to be having trouble. Overall good job though.

You started off fairly strong, but then it seemed like you were struggling with it, especially in the higher notes. You seemed to almost scream some of the notes. Ok you had great diction, in the one genre that calls for more fudging.. I'm glad to see that you are taking the comments to heart and working on your weak spots.
I try, Rath!
And to the people I owe PMs to, I've gotta run the hell outta here in 10 minutes (be back in an hour or so), so I'm PMing Cam the numbers and she can do the math and prolong the suspense, okay?
What I am about to say, I don't want any imaginary violins or any "Whining" or "Crying" comments. The last two weeks a couple of people (including judges) have said I struggled on the high notes to the point where it sounds like I am screaming. For some reason I have been losing my voice a lot lately (Wheater change probably) and unless I sing loudly there will be no high notes coming out. Hopefully that will change this week and beyond. So, I just wanted to explain myself. But, thanks for the comments.
Nevermind. I'm ready to go home. HATE my job.
Spidey darling, I only mention it cuz it sounds like you are going to hurt your vocal chords! It's all love baby!
