Well here's my dilemma. The recording I have of Still Hurting didn't come out well. I really want to submit that song, but cannot record that in my dorm room just because it requires me being able to just.. let go.. and its hard to do that in here. I may be able to record it with my friend Steven on the piano again on Wednesday night, but I'm not sure. I'm going to do Don't Speak as a backup song.
Sure, that works. What's the problem in quality for Still Hurting? Is it a recording problem or vocal or what?
Allie...hmmm...do you want to do jilted lover, in-love lover, or unrequited love lover?
The distortion makes it unbearable to listen to, pretty much. lol

I want to be whichever lover is furtherest away from my other entries, which is most likely "jilted lover", don't you think?
Nope, but I've been messing around with "Criminal." I just love "Shadowboxer" because it's the EXACT same thing I'm going through with my ex. Except I'm not quite able to stop things the way Fiona was
Fair enough, Kerrie. Go for "Don't Speak" then. I think it'll be a good choice for you anyway. (But I've got a jilted lover/anti-love bias.)
I agree, Allie. Hmm lemme think here...
Hey, are any of the guys doing "Song For The Dumped"?
All I have to say is if someone f*cks up "Song for the Dumped," they will be on my list for life. I'm just sayin'

Another good one for one of the guys: Ain't No Sunshine. I have a karaoke track for it!
Oooh, Ain't No Sunshine. Good choice. Spidey?

Oooh, YES! Spidey, spidey, spidey, you HAVE TO!
Allie, What about "Where have all the cowboys gone" by Paula Cole?

I know I know that one... I have to go download, as I gave away my Paula Cole CD a looong time ago, heh.

Ohhh, that's a great one. I don't know about the verses, though. She's growling/whispering more than singing. I'm searching for a karaoke track now, just to see... I really love this song.
I googled "break up songs" so feel free to do that and see what you see. I had break ups in the 90's and I knew I remembered pissy bitter girly music. :)
I don't think I have heard "Ain't No Sunshine." Who sings it? I am leaning towards a more rock love song than Luther and all of them like I originally was. I have an idea, and I found a karaoke for my the one I am thinking of doing, so I will record myself and see if it sounds good and if not . . . the search continues. But, I will look into that song for ya Allie and Tiff.
Spidey, I am pretty sure that song is on the "Notting Hill" movie soundtrack if that helps!

You've never heard Ain't No Sunshine? Bill Withers, boy!
I will, JL, thanks.
Ugh, I still really want to do Bon Jovi's Always, but it's just not happening. I just watched the video on You Tube, though.
You probably know the one, Spidey. "Ain't no sunshine when she's...gone. And she's gone for far too long. Everytime...she goes...away."
We've got a big announcement coming up momentarily!
OH!!! THAT SONG?!?!?!?! I know it. I will def. look into it.

I have the karaoke if you want it, spider. From a real karaoke CD, hehe.
The Notting Hill soundtrack was one of my all-time favourite CD's! And then my mom took it.
I just heard thunder, yikes.

Another great one for one of the guys would be Vertical Horizon's Best I Ever Had: "So you sailed away, across the grey sky morning..."
Cam's writing it up as we speak!
But I may as well tell you - I am with child. But I don't know who my baby daddy is. It could very well be the bastard kid of any of the male contestants still in the competition. Or JACXR. Or Rath.
Holy Crap!
