Wow - just finished listening to all the clips. Ebonic definitely stole this round, IMO - dude, don't let anybody tell you to get rid of that riffing, or to "un-Shoshana-ize" your singing...that sh*t is hot, and I don't care if people think me ignorant for saying that.
Everyone else did a fantastic job. Thanks to Tiff for reminding everyone of my "situation" - if you think I was trying too hard to sound like Adam, well, it's because I was. Those two clips were recorded for fun, and my friend and I were just messing around. Never did I know that they'd one day be subjected to the harsh yet fair criticisms of 3 (4?) anonymous internet judges.
Again, great job everyone. Looking forward to group 2!

Don't forget that contestants are also allowed to vote for themselves or each other for both rounds!
(And you guys better convince JAC to stay put next week, either through voting or grovelling at his feet!)
I can't shill based on what the votes are so far. All I can say is I gave the highest marks to ebonic_singer, jrb_actor, Spiderdj82, JACXR71 and tied Link and Timote. And I hope people will vote cautiously and keeping in mind that their choice has to have the versatility to do a wide range of themes well. Just sayin'.
