Rath, the judges loved your "Beautiful Disaster" rendition. You know this was your competition, but the public either doesn't have your confidence, or was so sure you'd get votes that they put them towards their next favorite. Either way, goes to show you that this isn't as in the bag as you originally thought and there's some other very talented singers who can hold their own. Do you still have a shot?

broadway86, you were one of my favorites in the prelim last week and your "Home" has been on constant repeat for the last few days. But this week you were sick, unfortunately, and didn't perform even close to 100%. Will last week's performance be enough to remind people why you should stick around?

Allie, you've got a sweet, pure virginal voice. (HA!) I chose your song and was confident that you would rock it. But you got bored, unmotivated (maybe because of your SH*Tty day that week, but like 86, when people listen to those clips, they don't take that into account) and sang the words but put no feeling in it. Will they give you another chance?

Well, the audience has spoken and Rathnait is safe by a narrow margin. Thank the judges for having given you some very high marks! And don't get too cocky - whether you think you deserve to win this and whether the audience agrees too may be two different ideas. So don't be above ass-kissing like Kitz and Diva!

(DAMMIT - another emoticon - JFTR guys, I'm trying to cut down on the emoticon usage, so PLEASE slap me if I use it again - if I wanted to see so many yellow faces staring back at me, I'd put up more family portraits.)

broadway86, you're one of my favorite guys in this contest. "Home" was fantastic and this week's wasn't as bad as it could've been. I think you have potential to succeed and would like you to try out country and some of the other themes coming up.

Unfortunately, 86, the audience doesn't have my faith and you're out. Allie's in so F*CKing SMILE why don't you, and EMOTE NEXT WEEK!

That's true, sp78. At least it's more balanced, because for a while I thought this would wind up being a men's comp. But I'm still disappointed 86 didn't get in based on last week's wonderful performance.

I also loved 86 last week, but this week I couldn't get through the entire thing. Unfortunately sickness plays a part. He wasn't even in consideration for my vote.

Exactly...one must remember, part of the consideration for a "BWW Idol" is that we really have to be able to picture you on Broadway, doing 8 shows a week, and that means consistency. Consistency is everything in this game...

Absolument, Yard. Allie was very close to elimination for this very reason as well - and why Rath was even close still boggles the mind.

And I appreciate those people who vote and put something interesting in the message for me to read when I open them up after the results are in. Blank votes are so boring - reading things after the fact are so much more fun. And I've learned more about some people's sexual exploits and self-confidence than I've ever cared to!
