My new quote! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

HAHAHA Mistress.

I walked in, took a quick glance, saw a big group with an empty wheelchair, and knew where I was going re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

That sucks that you all were there but never made it. N, we even mentioned you at some point and said aww, guess that didn't work out. You should have eavesdropped on our conversation...even if it wasn't Broadway...who else in central park would be talking about power bottoms? re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

C/Wickedgeek, how did you eventually find us? Say something? You got there before me.

Anyway, great time as usual. Great to see everyone again, and the few people I met for the first time.

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

best12bars, I get your "if I knew you were coming I'd-a baked a cake" line. Wasn't that a song from the late '50s/early '60s? Way before my time. Not to imply anything...

I'm so sorry I missed your picnic. It sounded like fun. I never meet people who have an interest in musical theater, so I'd have been in my element. We should do something like this in Massachusetts, like in, say, Boston Common. It's right by the theater district so it'd be appropriate. Any volunteers?

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

I had the Elphapug tied down. If you guys had seen a semi-flying, green pug, I imagine you would have all known who we were.

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

We need to get a west coast picnic going. You guys make me jealous.

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

So glad everyone had a good time. Next time for sure!!

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

Glad I could drop by and say hi to everyone and dole out a few hugs!

Thanks to Rath for suggesting and planning the picnic!

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

i stumbled around the park for about an hour before i found the group. and then it took me about two hours after sitting with the group of asians before i realized it was not the broadwayworld gang.

however, i do know where to find the best egg rolls in the city now...

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

The only real problem I had with the group was that there were so many possible RobbOs under the shady area...

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

All of us at the children's side had a great time! It was so great meeting all of you and I can't wait for next year's!

Wickedrentq, we saw a group under the tree chatting and then we saw mistress on the blanket and we recognized her from her pictures with Josh and the rainbow boa.

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

Marlene, someone was taping us for a while. We all had suspicions of whom it might be. re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

Sorry, I didn't video y'all in the end. re: BWW PICNIC!!!!! Or else it would be up on youtube right now. I didn't have the nerve to go harass a group of strangers (who would have been the right group, damn it), much less video them. I'm not that strange. Okay, if I had peer pressure I totally would have done it.

RobbO was hanging out with my 3rd cousins twice removed. Although, I did almost slip into a puddle of mud in front of the Asian gathering under the tree.

Frankly, you were the only group of people that was a big enough group under a tree, that didn't look totally like a homogenous age group, related, or overly Asian. So process of elimination would have lead me to the right group. But It was like 3:40 pm when I finally processed some of that. It was too hot, my brain hurt, and my 12 oz Dasani bottle wasn't providing me with enough H20 so that I could do what I would normally do. Now I regret this all. Boooooooo.

Now if I were taping you guys, I would be doing it on my digital camera that has like no zoom. How would I get a close up of Rath? (Not that I know how the lady even looks like.)

I actually spent a good 2 minutes staring at you all...except I was just focused on whoever had the red jersey on, who knows why. I forgot to bring my glases, so y'all were a little blurry any whooo.

I didn't see any cake, Angelina Jolie, and my gaydar was broken. So errrrm, I lose.

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

Aww...Bwaysinger, I loove Elphapug! It was soo cute seeing him drinking water.

There were Robbos all over the place...barefoot playing soccer, the boy in the white/pink hat...

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

The Elphapug does indeed love drinking his water like the baby he is.
And lord knows, if it was too hot for me, I imagine he was even hotter than he looked, bless his heart.
Best thing, though, was that we went home and he slept the rest of the day and night. Who knew high heat and humidity would be so good for me? re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

Sure, after he sneezed all over me.

Twice.

I had to loofah off the Elphacooties.

He was just marking you so he'd smell you coming next time (like that would be a problem anyway).

Is Vanilla Sugar lesbian speak for some kind of natural lumberjackess scent?
#422

re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!

Wait... there was a "children's section" and an "adult section" to this park gathering?

What's up with that?

Cliques on BWW????? Perish the thought!

Are you making fun of me and my Mischa Barton looks?

B12B, it is well known that there is a BWW heirarchy. We don't "suffer the little children" very well. re: BWW PICNIC!!!!!
