What BC/EFA benefit?
I would if I were in town then. I won't be there til the following Sat.

What's charming? That dancingthrulife04 wants to know which BC/EFA benefit you're talking about?

That's a song from SOUTH PACIFIC, isn't it?
Oh, I forgot about that. In that case, no.

It seems that no one wants to go to the show. I guess the theater will be empty.
You're kidding. I thought it was the title of the Ann Coulter biography.
Dolly, that's not true.I want to go to the show, but I haven't got the $$.

Dearest Dancing,
You are just one of a multitude. Have you seen the prices for this show? I mean who wants to fork over good bucks just to hear that one song sung over and over all night?
The wise and witty will spend the night at Corine's Corner.
Calvin, isn't it amazing how some people waltz into a thread and, in their own little a$$hole way, divert it from its purpose? That they do this on EVERY thread is what makes it so annoying.
That said, fill me in on the details about the shindig. I'm not doing but I might be able to make the gathering.
It was not my intent to divert the thread from its purpose. Sorry.
I'm not positive, but pretty sure I'm going to the event. If so, a BWW mini-gathering sounds good to me. However, I would only be able to attend if said "drinks" take place somewhere that doesn't restrict by age...unless it's 18 and up.
Bwaysinger, I hope you can come--it would be nice to see you for more than that one second at the picnic. Maybe we could work on planning BWW karoake night!
Don't worry dancing, Bwaysinger wasn't referring to you
It can be a minor-friendly place. Really, I was picturing anything too fancy. Just a quick bite/drink somewhere near the theatre before the show, say about 6:15 or so. Any suggestions on places? Being a Monday, most places won't be too crowded.
And KelRel, I'd love to do it the following Saturday for you -- but then I couldn't come. Unless you want me to drag my parents along, who'll be visiting me.
Calvin, the Nothing Like a Dame show is a wonderful benefit! I've gone the last couple of years (but can't this year because I have rehearsal). It's a great gathering of performers and raises money for an important cause!
Enjoy it, and I can't wait to hear your review!
Ah okay. Dinner sounds good.
Addy, would your rehearsal interfere with you joining us as well? That'd be sad. I met some of you awesome a tad older BWWers once but I was just beginning posting and I was shy and barely said a word. I would be looking forward to actually communicating with you guys this time
so?

WRQ - you need to check back during the day when most of these people are awake
Calvin, I'm going to thread jack a bit and see who all wants to get together for dinner on Saturday night. Anyone interested?
Ah but DG--usually I'm not awake at this point, stupid classes. Because I have a habit of sleeping till 2-3 PM, I'm used to asking things in the morning when I'm up, then hopefully having answers by the time I do wake up
Kel, I'd love to meet up with you again, but I have my first performance of Guys and Dolls (my first pit job in community theatre, yay!) at 8:30 in Queens. Well, unless anyone wants to meet up in Douglaston
Hmm. Just name a place and I'll be there. I'm terrible at picking places.
