saddle-shoe,
As posted last night, my situation is also pure crap, but I'll try to make you feel better! The first time I kissed a guy was on my 16th birthday, so don't worry about that fact that you're 16 and haven't been kissed. Granted, that was all because I'm "the runner" (thank you, Ned Weeks) and was pretty much just... afraid of, well, I don't know what I was afraid of. Anyway, I'm just out of high school. I hated every bit of it; including what you're talking about. But, it'll go by quickly, and there's not need for you to feel like an outcast because of that. Be proud that you're not running into the arms of any guy who comes your way just for the sake of having a guy, which is what a lot of people in high school tend to do. High school is like a herd of sheep. People do what everyone else does, with no reason other than that. I'm 18. I'm single. I don't love it, but last night (in a conversation of completely different context - kind of a serious one, but that's not important) someone told me that soon enough, I'm going to find someone who, I quote "rocks my socks." I trust her, and she's right. And you know what? You will too.
A work of art is an invitation to love.
