There was a movie on The Movie Channel this past Sunday that I couldn't look away from even though it was the worst thing I had ever seen.

It was call Ring of Darkness and starred Adrienne Barbeau, Jeremy Jackson (Hobie on Baywatch) and Ryan Starr (American Idol).

It's about a boy band who are secretly zobies and have killed their lead singer who was human and wanted to reveal their secret. They hold a contest to find a new lead singer and yada, yada, yada....you can imagine the rest.

The guys are pretty hot though. That's why I couldn't change the channel.

For me, almost all Lifetime movies fall into this category. Sometimes the acting is actually pretty good but yeah, if I start one, I can't stop.

"The Other Side of Midnight" an overblown melodramatic soap opera based on the Sidney Sheldon best seller. It starred a french actress Marie-France Pisier (you could barely understand her English) as an actress with a sordid past who falls in love with a married Army officer (John Beck) and together plan to kill his wife (Susan Sarandon) but the plan backfires on them - - - BIG TIME.

Susan Sarandon is absolutely beautiful in this movie.

I forgot "Dance Til Dawn," one of those 80's tv movies that had a cast made entirely of kid sitcom stars: Brian Bloom, Christina Applegate, Tempest Bledsoe, Alyssa Milano, Tracy Gold...

Too good to be true.

A lot of Hallmark movies. For some odd reason, my tv is always on that channel and I cannot change it when they show some sad story about somebody else's life.
