I'm sure there will be MANY tributes like this in the future (assuming he leaves office with most of his dignity intact, which is easier said than done these days).
Schools, bridges, airports... perhaps even lunch boxes and a clothing line!
I think it's great.
There's a Langston Hughes Elementary School in my hometown of Lawrence, Kansas (his hometown too!).
I think this would be cooler if it was an elementary school in Alabama or Texas. But hey, Long Island is a start.

Posted: 11/21/08 at 7:55pmWhen campaigning in the South Dakota primary, Obama was asked about Mt Rushmore. He responded that there wasn't enough stone up there for his ears.
