She has always been amazing (since the early 60s!). One of the most under rated great actresses out there. I happened to be fortunate enough to work backstage on an off bway play (by
Anne Meara), she did abut 20? yrs ago. She was a joy to behold every single perf. She was GOLD. This also was during the time she had a big health problem. A great and nice lady (thanks for bringing her up!)

I'm relieved this thread isn't what I was expecting when I saw her name.
I adore Barrie. Always a highlight of anything she is in.

Augh! Sorry Mildred. While that didn't enter my mind, I have to admit, I did check online to see if she had already passed.
(Shame on me, but I am terrible about keeping things like that in my head.)
I've been reminiscing on her long career over on IMBD. What a gem. Her comic timing was wonderful!
