i was looking up clips of various 80's nostalgia and i ran across this cartoon from the show "Maxie's World". for those of you who are too old to remember, Maxie was modeled as "Barbie's Cousin" and they specifically made a cartoon for her.
what shocked me most of all, however, was what was allowed for kids of the 80's to SEE on a Barbie Doll cartoon. watch this clip and see what i'm talking about!

Posted: 11/14/07 at 8:39pmOh my goodness, that was horrible! I can't imagine what young girls were thinking when they watched that episode. But that last part where she was blowing up reminded me of that scene in "Slither". Ew!
