With that out of the way, I'd like to put a single question before the group about this particular topic. That is, does D & G's position somehow deviate from that of the Vatican? See Catechism, #2376, at the jump.

Not here to chime in on the boycott, gay politics, or anything, but just to plug how PHENOMENAL Elton John's early music was. Everything from "Empty Sky" (which is rough but really shows a developing talent) through "Blue Moves" is an inventive blend of glam rock, folk, blues and alternative country all wound together with just a touch of gospel and a pinch of prog. Then... he went vanilla.

If you haven't heard it, check out "The Seventeenth of November," a semi-official radio concert Elton did in 1970 with piano, bass and drums only. It's mind-blowing.

All babies contain a soul however they come to this earth and their families. There is nothing synthetic about a soul!! So how can we dismiss IVF and surrogacy? Every soul comes to us to teach us a lesson. God has his hand in everything even technology! We are arrogant to think Man does anything on his own. As above so below!
