The Hills are alive...with the sound of semi-automatic weapons!
"The couple visited the Martin B. Retting store in Culver City, Calif., on June 7 and spent more than $10,000 on guns to arm themselves. They purchased two Benelli semiautomatic M4 tactical shotguns, two Wilson close quarter combat .45-caliber pistols and one Scout semiautomatic rifle. “They wanted the exact guns that the U.S. Delta Force uses,” a friend explains. "Spencer wants to be prepared for anything.""
Everybody run! Spencer Pratt's got a gun!
$10,000? Pshaw. I don't even walk into a Martin B. Retting store for less than $100,000.

Ok, I give up - who or what are these people?
They are nobodies DG. They are rich spoiled brats who think the world cares about them b/c they have a reality show about them called The Hills.
Truly repugnant people.
DG, watch this and you will understand.

"they have a reality show about them called The Hills."
Ahhhh, I should have known. Since I make a very conscious choice not to watch 'reality' programming, I've been waiting for the day when I simply got completely left out of the loop.
I'm content to be left behind on this one.
What's sad, DG, is I've never seen a single episode of this show, nor do I ever plan to, but these people are so ubiquitous that I've grown to hate them regardless.

What's sad for me, Calvin, is that I'm aware of much of this stuff because of BWW - which makes it my window to the world!
I've never seen The Hils, but I'm on Team Lauren!
Suck it, Speidi!
Oh, lord, DG, I hope you have plenty of Windex!

I was just horrified by the idea of these brainless dolts stockpiling weapons. Well, and a little bit horrified they have $10K to spend on anything.

"horrified by the idea of these brainless dolts stockpiling weapons."
Joe, that is no way to speak of the great state of Idaho.
Such a joke.
I'm not judging anyone's idea of entertainment (trust me, people would question a lot of what I find entertaining), but The Hills is just such an odd show.
It's people who don't work, don't know the first thing about life or responsibility, and treat the world as a playground.
I can't imagine myself watching that and not getting ill.

Ah but as a "Reality" show it gives a true, unvarnished picture of the youth of today, interacting in a totally natural, unscripted way.
To quote the snotty matre'd in FERRIS BUELLER: I weep for the future.
