Are you trying to pimp yourself dear?
Well the question becomes, can you sing?!

I'm gay, and it's true that the world's most beautiful men are also gay, but....are they available? No.
The grass may be greener on this side of the fence, but it's because of the insecticide and weed-killer....

SammyGal,
I'm all for pimping myself out...nobody else will do it for me...
And yes I can sing, at least I hope i can, because for the past while I have been making a career for myself in Musical Theatre...maybe I'm a hideous singer and people just hire me so audiences can chuckle at me...ahhh

The fact that gay men are the most beautiful in the world has been proven through numerous studies: the most recent was conducted by Oxford University and the sample size was large enough to be definitive not just in America but throughout the world. In addition, it might interest some of you to know that other research has uncovered that gay men are also the best tippers, the most fastidious in their housekeeping chores, the best groomed, the most hygenic, and possess the most attractive hair styles.
Less reliable -- but still fairly sound -- data have been put forward in a number of academic journals which show that all gay men hiss, shreik, call each other Mary, know all the lyrics Sondheim has ever written, lust after little boys, wear tight pants, have an unnatural affinity for their mother while reject any ties to their fathers, can't play any team sport but devote above average time to weightlifting.
Most significantly, the "research" which shows that gay men and women enjoy higher than median household wealth (or are in fact rich) and therefore do not require any sort of legal protections has been used by conservatives to fight against the Employment Non-discrimination Act, Hate Crimes legislation and all other civil rights protections for gay men and lesbians.
So, keep those stereotypes and banalities coming. They're not just condescending (under the guise of flattery), they're injurious. Doubt it? Let's review one of the most pernicious examples of this: black men have larger penises than white men. This one has been used to further the stereotype that black men are sexual predators in a societal context -- and on a personal level, it leads to feelings of inadequacy in black men who are of average size.
I think it's time to grow up, folks.

Why is it all the gorgeous men are gay or otherwise taken? And why is it no matter how little I fancy a man when he has his mouth shut if he has a beautiful voice that does it for me everytime? And why is it this gets me into so many demmed complicated situations?!?
Just had to ask.
#12re: Beautiful Men
Posted: 8/1/04 at 3:03pmIsn't there some sort of study that said that no two people have the same balance of "masculine" and "feminine" qualities?

Oh, come off it Zola!
Everyone's a little bit racist sometimes....
(or homogeneralizing/heterogeneralizing, etc.)
Doesn't mean we go around committing hate crimes!

Oh, I know, Blue. Remember, on the shaving thread, Jose accused me of not showering.
But, he's a real gentleman and a real nice guy, so I guess you're right. Stereotypes are great.

Hmmm, I should go visit that shaving thread, because I'd like some techniques about trimming my....oh, never mind.
I better go crawl back to my Canadian igloo now, there's some buffalo to be eaten.

Zola, stop playing victim and taking things out of context. Read your own posts criticizing me (which I have mostly ignored these many many months).
But I digress...
Sexuality is a spectrum and everyone falls somewhere along the line that connects 100% homosexual to 100% heterosexual, in my opinion. Studies have shown that a significant number of people do experiment with same sex partners, as well as opposite sex partners. Some like it and explore further. Others, say "I'm just looking around."
Safe, healthy sex is just that...safe, healthy sex.
As long as someone's not getting hurt, where's the harm the mutually consenting to share in one of life's pleasures--sex-- with the person of one's choice?

Thanks, Jose, for repeating almost verbatim what I had already posted in another thread. Methinks you might be stealing just a little peeky-peeky at my posts. Frankly, it's nice to see that my words have resonated.
I'm not sure who you've co-opted to write these posts for you. The spelling and grammar are much improved, so you should probably keep them around -- it makes it much easier to read your messages. But, sex lessons from you are really not needed here. Thanks anyway.
